I’m Anika — a CNHC registered Nutritional Therapist, Naturopath (Assoc.), and Microbiome Restoration Center Certified Practitioner.
My journey into natural healthcare began long before my professional career. Watching my grandparents using herbs and food as medicine instilled in me a deep understanding of the connection between us and nature. Food was not only tasty, it was also healing....
This early childhood experience of the healing power of nature was pivotal in transforming my own health later on in my life. When I felt let down by conventional approaches, diet, targeted natural supplements, and lifestyle changes helped me reclaim my digestive health, and restore hormonal balance.
As they say, what you live, you learn and that was certainly true for me.
My training in nutritional therapy and functional medicine has been shaped by an international education, which has given me a broad perspective on health and disease.
I hold a degree-level diploma in Naturopathic Nutritional Therapy from the Natural Healthcare College in London, a science-based institution specialising in nutritional therapy and integrative health.
To further develop my expertise in gastrointestinal health, I completed advanced postgraduate trainings with leading international practitioners in the field.
This included specialist SIBO training certified by the American Association of Family Physicians with Dr Alison Siebecker (USA), who is widely regarded as one of the world's experts in SIBO, and functional medicine training with Dr Jason Hawrelak (Australia), a globally recognised researcher, clinician, and educator in gut and microbiome health.
Learning from practitioners across the UK, United States, and Australia has provided me with a wider perspective on health conditions and functional, and naturopathic approaches to health.
I am registered with the Naturopathic Nutrition Association,
the General Naturopathic Council,
and the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC).
Being registered with the above organisations means I meet strict standards for qualifications, ongoing training, insurance, and professional conduct, so you can feel confident you're in safe hands.
I also hold an Enhanced DBS check (certificate available on request).
